Rooster Yarns was originally borne out of the knitting groups desire to knit with really good natural fibre yarn. Also the knitting group met at a farm where chickens roamed free.
When it came to naming the yarn, ‘Rooster’ was also chosen because of the chickens. Rooster is also a small but dedicated 3rd generation family company, based in rural Cheshire. Creative advice, help and inspiration are always available from our approachable, knowledgeable team. We specialise in natural fibres.
We choose natural fibres to make our quality yarns. Because they are kinder to the environment, without harmful chemicals because these can be detrimental to our health and the environment. Because unlike synthetic fibres, natural fibres are renewable, carbon neutral and biodegradable.
Natural fibres breathe, are absorbent, comfortable to wear and are so beautifully tactile.
